Yemen..Houthi militias escalate drones in Marib and Al-Dhalea

The terrorist Houthi militia continued to target Yemeni forces in southern Marib for the second day in a row, and bombed the forces' positions with booby-trapped drones, according to the media center of the Giants Brigades Forces, noting that an air terrorist operation was thwarted in the theater of its military operations south of Ma'rib Governorate.

The center stated that the air defenses of the giants managed to shoot down a drone, launched by the Houthi militia towards the forces' positions in the Harib district, south of Marib, one day after it targeted the forces with mortars, in a dangerous escalation and violation that threatens the collapse of the UN truce in Yemen.

Also in the Harib district, two brothers were injured by an explosion of the remnants of the Houthi militia in the Daou area while they were playing next to a residential gathering in the area.

In Al-Dhalea, the Houthi militia targeted the Al-Mashareeh area in the Hajar sector, north of the governorate, with drones and mortars, as part of its daily violations of the UN truce.

And field sources, north of Al-Dhalea, reported that the militias bombed the area with mortars and drones during the past hours, which resulted in the injury of a soldier from the joint forces stationed on those fronts.

In Taiz, militias bombed army and resistance positions on the fronts of Al-Dabab, west of the governorate, for the second day in a row, focused on the areas of Wadi Al-Dhabab and the village of Al-Rai, which resulted in the injury of two girls.

Meanwhile, today, Saturday, a civilian, from the Kilab neighborhood, east of Taiz, was wounded by a Houthi sniper, who was shot while he was in the courtyard of his house.

On the same level, the media center of the Yemeni army announced that it had monitored 467 Houthi violations of the UN truce within 5 days, on the fronts of Al-Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Saada, Al-Jawf and Marib, which resulted in the killing and wounding of 46 soldiers and civilians.

In Shabwa, the Presidential Military and Security Committee, regarding the unfortunate events in the governorate, called on all the people of Shabwa to stand united with the leadership of the local authority and the military and security leaders in the governorate to enhance security and stability, maintain social peace and spread love and peace throughout the governorate.

 According to the official Saba Agency, the committee stressed, in a statement, the need for a ceasefire by all, with a commitment not to return to disturbing the security and stability of the governorate, implementing presidential decisions, and the importance of assembling military and security units in appropriate camps with conducting an inventory of human and material forces and returning what Possession of entrusted with assessment of losses and damages.

In Al-Jawf, the political parties in the province demanded, the Presidential Leadership Council, to quickly take strict measures that require a change of the local and military authorities in the province.

On the other hand, the official Yemeni news agency “Saba” reported that the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on a private visit that will last for several days, noting that the visit will discuss efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen, and speeding up the absorption of Saudi funds in various fields.

For his part, a member of the Presidential Command Council, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, valued the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its continuous support for Yemen in various fields.
