This is the second major road accident in Turkey this Saturday.

At least 16 people have been killed and 29 others injured after a truck accidentally rammed into a crowd in a town in southeastern Turkey, Turkey's health minister said on Saturday.

"Sixteen people lost their lives and 29 others were injured, eight of them seriously, in the accident following the breakage of the brakes of a truck which hit a crowd in Derik", in the province of Mardin, said Minister Fahrettin Koca on Twitter.
