The traffic accident is reported to have occurred on a highway between the cities of Nizip and Gaziantep in southeastern Turkey.
According to Governor Davut Gül, three of the dead are firefighters.
Two paramedics and two journalists are said to have also died.
According to the Turkish news agency DHA, a fire truck, an ambulance and a bus were involved in the accident.
