The Swedish

court

that instructs the investigation of the accident that caused the death of a 22-year-old at the

Medusa Festival is

already processing the complaint of nine affected while the investigations advance in two directions before beginning with the taking of statements.

On the one hand, the judge has requested a report from

AEMET

so that they describe the phenomenon of "thermal blowout" that caused the strong winds, if it was foreseeable and what warnings were given.

On the other hand, and as Las Provincias has advanced, it is pending that the experts of the Civil Guard deliver the reports of the ocular inspection, focused above all on the

restraints t

from the entrance portico, whose fall caused the death of the young Miguel Ángel and caused spinal injuries to the two young women who are still hospitalized.

The file with the permits and technical reviews to which the facilities were subjected to obtain the permits has already been deposited in the court, which show that this metal structure at the entrance was held by two large 1,000-kilo flower pots.

Of the complaints filed, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, five were filed in court and the remaining four before the Security Forces and Bodies, either the Civil Guard or the National Police.

extraordinary plenary session

For its part, the PP of Cullera will urge the mayor, the socialist

Jordi Mayor

, to convene an extraordinary municipal plenary session to offer "all the appropriate explanations" about what happened and they have already requested the complete file of the event, along with the emergency plans and evacuation.

As provincial president of the PP and spokesman in the Valencia Provincial Council,

Vicent Mompó

defends that the mayor and provincial deputy for Tourism should act "with all possible transparency."

To do this, in his opinion, the most appropriate thing is to convene a plenary session to "give all the explanations about what happened and stop all kinds of speculation that have proliferated since the time of the accident."

Mompó also reiterates his "total support" for all those affected by the accident and the family of the deceased.
