Russia's government-owned gas company Gazprom announced on the 19th that it will suspend the supply of natural gas from its main pipeline to Germany, Nord Stream, for three days from the end of this month due to facility inspections.

The price of natural gas is rising in the European market, which is seen as Russia's move toward Europe.

According to Gazprom's announcement, the supply of gas by Nord Stream will be suspended for three days from the 31st of this month to the 2nd of next month due to the inspection of the facilities on the Russian side that sends out natural gas.

Nord Stream's gas supply was halted last month for routine inspections and then restarted, but is currently at about 20% of normal capacity.

Gazprom said that it would resume the supply after the inspection was completed, but the suspension of the supply was seen as Russia's shaking of the European side, and the German government issued a statement that it was "watching the situation carefully."

In response to this, natural gas prices rose in the European market on the 19th, and the index price called "Dutch TTF" temporarily rose by more than 8% from the start of trading, exceeding 250 euros per MWh. .

After the military invasion of Russia, the price of natural gas, which had soared, fell once, but it is rising again, and there are concerns that the market may continue to have an unstable supply situation.
