This was announced by the Elysee Palace.

The communiqué says that Macron, in a conversation with Putin, expressed concern about the dangers associated with the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The French leader also noted the need to send a mission of IAEA experts to the station as soon as possible.

“The presidents will talk again in the coming days on this issue after consultations at the expert level and before the deployment of this mission,” TASS quoted the message as saying. 

In turn, the President of Russia told his French colleague about the risks of a catastrophe due to shelling of the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Ukrainian army.

The Kremlin reported that the leaders of Russia and France noted the importance of sending an IAEA mission to the ZNPP.
