On July 24, supporters of the opposition Shor party already held a protest near the building of the Prosecutor General's Office of Moldova in Chisinau.
The demonstrators demanded the release of the arrested vice-president of the political force Marina Tauber, as well as the resignation of the country's leadership and Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
The protesters accused the country's authorities of persecuting the opposition.
Marina Tauber was detained in the case of financial violations on July 21.
