SVT Nyheter Sörmland has previously reported on the debate surrounding the new meeting place and at the end of 2021 the political decision was made which is the basis for what was presented on Friday.
The new meeting place will be housed in existing premises at Träffen, and start-up will now take place in the autumn for associations and other municipal activities.
According to the decision document that is on the table before the municipal board's decision on August 29, SEK 600,000 will be allocated to the project until the end of the year.
After that, it is proposed that the operation be financed with 4.5 million annually for another two years.
If the decision goes through, the operation can start in October, according to the municipal management.
