The specific circumstances of the fight in the private plane that led to the divorce between Hollywood couple star Brad Pitt (59) and Angelina Jolie (47) have been reported.
US CNN broadcast yesterday (18th) (local time) reported the brawl in which Jolie told an investigator that it had obtained the FBI report.
The couple divorced in 2016 after a bitter argument on a plane returning to their home state of California from a two-week vacation with their six children in 2016.
According to Jolie's statement, Pitt quarreled with one of her children after a violent quarrel, drank alcohol, told Jolie to come back to the back of the plane, and then went into the bathroom together and then acted violently.
Inside this bathroom, cut off from her outside, with her middle door installed, Pete grabbed her Jolly's head and shoulders and shook her, then shoved her against the wall of her bathroom and said "You're ruining our family" etc. The same poured her words.
Two of their children, who were listening to their parents fighting outside, "cryed and asked, 'Are you okay?'" Pete exclaimed, "No, I'm not okay. You're ruining the family, you're crazy."
One of the children who heard this said, "It's not the mother that's ruining her family, she's the dad. She's the crazy guy."
At this point, Jolie ran and strangled Pete from behind, and Pitt tried to escape, pushing her Jolly into the chair behind her.
In the process, Jolie sustained injuries to her back and elbow, and submitted a photo of her elbow to the FBI.
A black-and-white copy of this photo was obtained from CNN.
Attached to the document is a statement submitted by Jolie, claiming that it was handwritten by the children who witnessed the marital fight.
Jolie claimed that Pete continued to drink after the fight and later poured beer on Jolie.
Even after the plane landed at the Los Angeles (LA) airport, Jolie stated that he had a fight with Pete and that Pete kept him and his children from getting off the plane for 20 minutes.
A close associate of Pitt said about the newly released FBI investigation data, "There is nothing new about it as it has been widely known for the past six years," CNN reported.
Shortly after the incident, Jolie filed for divorce, alleging that Pitt was threatening to her adopted son Maddox while on a plane.
In the report, the FBI stated that all parties to the case had agreed not to pursue a criminal investigation.
An FBI spokesperson responded to CNN's inquiry on the same day, saying, "There are no charges related to the case, and it is inappropriate to comment further."
