The trial, which began on Monday, was scheduled to end on Thursday, but was able to end early.

Like previous trials as a result of the Easter coup in Sveaparken, the men were charged with serious sabotage against blue light operations, but one of the men was also charged with serious damage.

Must have driven the police bus

This time too, the prosecutor has presented evidence that one of the men allegedly drove one of the police buses and parked it close to another police bus that was already on fire.

An act which the prosecutor considers to be serious, because it involved danger to another's life or health.

The man is also required to pay SEK 135,849 in compensation for the destroyed bus.

Calls for long prison terms

Prosecutor Ove Järvefelt calls for prison sentences for all the accused.

- For one of the men I am asking for nine years and for the other two I am asking for a prison sentence of no less than eight years, says Järvefelt.

Two of the men are 31 and the third is 37 years old, all from the county and previously known to the police.

Additional arrests

On Thursday, two more men were arrested on probable cause on suspicion of gross sabotage against blue light operations.

So far, a total of 17 people have been detained after the riot, eight of whom have been sentenced to between two and eight years in prison.
