“In the base case, the market is estimated at 0.8 million vehicles in 2022, and then gradually recovers by 2026 to the level of 1.6–1.7 million vehicles… Starting from 2027, the market is gradually growing at 1% per year and in 2035 year reaches the level of 1.9 million cars," the document says.

According to the pessimistic scenario, by 2035 the market will reach 1.3 million vehicles.

This development suggests a stagnation in Russia's gross domestic product and low consumer demand.

In the optimistic scenario, the market until 2025 corresponds to the baseline scenario, then a gradual increase to 2.8–3 million vehicles by 2030–2032 is assumed.
