As of August 18, the area of ​​the hearth is 4 hectares, the area of ​​active burning is 2 hectares.

“The grouping currently consists of 58 pieces of equipment and 158 people, including the grouping of the Noginsk Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the amount of nine pieces of equipment and 50 people, as well as the grouping of the Department of Civil Defense and Fire Safety of Moscow in the amount of 32 pieces of equipment and 65 people," the ministry said.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Alexander Kurenkov, recommended that the governors of the regions of the Central and Volga federal districts impose a ban on visiting forests and suspend the hunting season due to fire danger.
