The presenters Anders Holmberg and Camilla Kvartoft question the party leaders in the classic hearing, directly from the television house in Stockholm.

Prime Minister's meeting 

With only a few days left until the election, Wednesday 7 September, the prime ministerial candidates Magdalena Andersson (S) and Ulf Kristersson (M) meet in a live duel in front of an audience in Uppsala.

Hosts are Karin Magnusson and Fouad Youcefi.

The final debate

Hosts Karin Magnusson and Fouad Youcefi lead the traditional final debate between the party leaders two days before the election, Friday 9 September.

The debate will be broadcast live from 20-22 on SVT1 and on SVT Play.

Election vigil  

On election day, Sunday 11 September, SVT broadcasts around the clock.

New for this year is that viewers can follow the vote count in real time, using a specially developed screen.

- In this year's election vigil, we will have the opportunity to follow the drama surrounding the vote count in the country in a completely new way.

Our hope is that the viewers will be able to follow the election during the evening right down to individual electoral districts.

Our interactive screen will show how the result emerges in a way that has not been done in Sweden before, says Michael Kucera, responsible publisher for SVT's election program.

Valvakan broadcasts 18.15-19.25 and from 19.45 onwards.

At 20.00, at the same time as the polling stations close, the heaviest forecast of the evening is presented by SVT Valu.

In the studio there are visitors and guests to explain, analyze and give perspective on election events and results.

Later in the evening, the party leaders come to the studio.

The Politikbyrån deepens the most exciting aspects of politics with special programs throughout the election run.

The Politikbyrå broadcasts extra after the party leader hearings, the debates, every day in the week before the election and after election Sunday.

Agenda

The agenda editor immerses himself every Sunday in the election campaign.

On Sunday, August 28, an economic debate will be broadcast live where the economic policy spokesmen of the Riksdag parties meet.

The special programs are broadcast on 30 August, 6 September and 13 September.

The presenters are Frida Wengberg, Helena Wink and Per-Anders Fredriksson.

Sweden meets broadcast from various cities around the country.

Politicians, experts and citizens discuss the voters' most important issues.

From a tent on Gustaf Adolfs torg in Gothenburg on August 10, Skaraborg's regiment on August 17 and Västerås on August 31, Magnus Thorén leads a debate about the housing crisis, Sweden's NATO application and how democracy is affected by the political tone.
