According to the Yonhap agency, citing the South Korean military, the KC-330 tanker aircraft will also be involved in the maneuvers.

South Korean air assets are expected to arrive at Darwin Air Base on August 19.

The exercises will take place from August 29 to September 7.

They will involve aircraft from more than ten countries, including the United States, Great Britain and France.

Planned exercises with the participation of more than a dozen ships and submarines of the Northern Fleet have previously started in the Barents Sea.

The flagship of the Northern Fleet, the missile cruiser Peter the Great, will take part in the maneuvers.
