The Tribute Museum, one of the museums in New York established by bereaved families after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States in 2001, ran out of operating funds due to a decrease in visitors due to the effects of the new coronavirus. It closed 21 years ago.

The Tribute Museum is a museum established by the bereaved families of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States and firefighters who rushed to the scene. I went on a tour to explain the situation.

Since its establishment, the museum has been visited by more than 5 million people from more than 140 countries and regions, but since the end of the year, it has been forced to close for a long time due to the effects of the new coronavirus.

After that, the number of visitors from overseas did not recover, and the operating funds were insufficient, so the museum was closed on the 17th, just before the 21st anniversary of the incident.

On the final day, many people came to take pictures and listen to the storytellers.

A woman from Germany who participated in the tour by the storyteller said, ``I was moved.

Also, a local man who was 1 year old at the time said, "I came to express my gratitude when I learned that it was the last day. I am very sad."

The museum hopes to continue the storyteller's activities online even after the museum closes.
