As many as 75 percent of Swedes are somewhat or very worried about the impact of inflation on Sweden's economy.

This appears in a survey conducted by the company Novus.

Among those living in southern Sweden, the figure is 87 percent.

The respondents also had to answer how worried they are about the impact of inflation on the private economy.

There, 63 percent stated that they are quite or very worried.

SD's voters worry the most

The group that expresses the most concern is women between the ages of 30 and 49. Low-income earners, LO members and people who live in rented accommodation are also groups that stand out with high percentages.

When it comes to party affiliation, the voters of the Social Democrats, the Left Party and the Green Party are the least worried about the impact of inflation on the country's economy.

The voters of the Sweden Democrats have the highest numbers - among them, 84 percent stated that they are quite or very worried.

- It is actually a common thread, that you go to the Sweden Democrats because you are worried about your own situation and your own development, says Novus CEO Torbjörn Sjöström.
