Children build huts here: "It must be safe and stable"

It was the 32nd year that the youth sobriety association, Fagersta municipality and a local timber company organized hut building, which is intended as a fun summer activity for children in Västanfors.

Construction began on Monday and was completed today.

During the Thursday night, the children who want to try get to sleep in the huts they built.

No worries about rain

The children carried boards and hammered intensively to complete their constructions when SVT was on site. 

- We don't have a super tight roof, says cabin builder Ludvig Jordansson Svedberg.

But that's not something that concerns fellow cabin builder Nils Andersson:

- It will rain, but it will be fun to sleep in a hut anyway, he says.
