New Barça player Robert Lewandowski already knows that thieves don't even respect football stars.

This Thursday afternoon when he arrived at training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper in Sant Joan Despí he stopped with his car to sign autographs for some of the fans who were waiting at the door of the facilities.

However, a robber took advantage of the fact that there were many people to approach the player and violently rip the watch off his wrist, before fleeing.

The Polish striker went after the thief although security agents from the club came to his aid and a police device was quickly set up between the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Sant Joan Despí Local Police to chase the thief who managed to cross the road and hide in an area near the training ground where there are orchards.

The officers managed to arrest him shortly after and recover the stolen item which was returned to the Polish player a few minutes after the incident.

It is a model of the prestigious Patek Phillippe brand valued at 70,000 euros, according to TV3

The suspect is accused of a crime of robbery with force and will go to court in the next few hours.

Now Lewandowski already knows that there is not only danger when he approaches the area.
