As recently as in Aftonbladet's party leader debate on Wednesday, V leader Nooshi Dadgostar stated that it is an absolute requirement to sit in the government.

It would be a requirement to release Magdalena Andersson (S) as prime minister.

In SVT's party leader hearing, Annie Lööf was pressed about the formation of the government.

And just like before, she was clear that she wants to keep V out.

- We will not contribute to a budget that raises taxes on housing, savings and jobs, Lööf replies.

- We will not participate in any left-wing politics.

At the same time, she continues to keep the door open even for her former alliance friends.

But with the requirement that they cut ties with the Sweden Democrats.

Nothing against nuclear power

Annie Lööf was also pressed about nuclear power.

The Center Party used to be profiled as opponents of nuclear power.

But that no longer applies, according to Lööf.

Electricity prices would probably have been lower than today if Ringhals 1 and 2 had been continued, she notes.

- Yes, it probably would have been, says Annie Lööf.

But despite that, nuclear power is still not what she wants to focus on.

- We need more electricity of all types of production, she says.

- Cogeneration is incredibly important, but of course also land- and sea-based wind power.

What does C want today when it comes to nuclear power?

- Nuclear power will have a role, but the main role will be the renewable energy sources.

- The Center Party has made agreements about nuclear power for the past 12 years, it has been free with C's good memory to expand nuclear power, but with the market's conditions.

We will not agree to hefty subsidies for nuclear power or that politics should shut down existing reactors, but it is the owners and the market that do it.

"Would have chosen M any day of the week"

When asked which party she had chosen between the Social Democrats and the Moderates, she replied that she would choose M "every day of the week."

- We have a common economic policy and are two bourgeois parties that believe in freedom and liberalism.

But if the choice is SD or S, I choose S. What SD wants to destroy is liberalism, and I am the party leader who stands up for liberalism, says Lööf.
