On August 16, local time, a spokesperson for the first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, issued a statement saying that Jill Biden was diagnosed with the new crown virus.

  The statement said that Jill Biden developed cold-like symptoms on the evening of the 15th. Her rapid test result that day was negative, but the subsequent nucleic acid test result was positive.

  Jill Biden, 71, has previously been fully vaccinated against the new crown and received two booster doses.

The White House said she currently has mild symptoms and will be isolated for at least five days and taking oral antiviral drugs to treat the new crown.

  U.S. President Biden was diagnosed with the new crown on July 21. After taking 5 days of new crown antiviral drugs, the new crown test turned negative.

But Biden tested positive for the new crown again on July 30 and did not turn negative until August 6.
