The Russian Ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, spoke about this on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

“The embassy has already applied to the White House, the State Department with a demand to fulfill the obligations of the country on whose territory the UN headquarters is based, and to immediately issue visas to the minister and all members of the Russian delegation,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the United States should refrain from provocative actions regarding the arrival of Lavrov's special aircraft in New York for the UN General Assembly in September.
