A person has been found dead in a place in Umeå municipality on Wednesday morning.
- As there are unclear circumstances in the case, a preliminary investigation regarding murder has been initiated, writes Maria Linné, press spokesperson.
The person's identity has not been determined, however, there is a presumed identity and affected relatives have been informed.
On Thursday, the police cordoned off a property in a village outside Umeå.
However, the police do not want to comment on whether this has anything to do with the case.
- There is no further information to provide at the moment, says Maria Linné.
