According to the agency, the An-24 aircraft of the Angara company, when landing at the Ust-Kut airport, touched the ground with its wing, as a result, both the wing and the landing gear were severely cracked.

Another An-24 of the IrAero company, due to the failure of one of the engines, returned safely to Irkutsk, to the airport of departure. 

“The investigating authorities of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee are conducting checks on the fact of violation of the rules for traffic safety and operation of air transport (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Russia) ... The aircraft landed safely.

As a result of the incidents, no one was injured, ”the UK said.

Currently, investigators are conducting a set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances and causes of the incident. 

Earlier it was reported that a plane with a damaged wing made an emergency landing at the airport in the city of Ust-Kut in the Irkutsk region.
