The change came into effect on Monday and is based on an investigation that was carried out in 2019, where it was found that the ceiling had been reached on several of the city tours during rush hour with too full buses.

Therefore, it has now been decided on more frequent departures with faster travel times.

Among other things, lines 1, 2 and 3 depart every ten minutes during rush hour.

But it also means that line 2 will be rerouted to make the journey to the center faster.

Some of those who now have longer to walk to the nearest stop have contacted SVT with sharp criticism of the changes.

Some elderly people who have difficulty walking now have a significantly longer distance to the stop, for example there is a difference of upwards of 500 meters between the Mariebergsgården and Hagstugan stops, which are now referred to instead.
