Russia: Britain has asked permission to fly a spy plane over our territory
The Russian Defense Ministry said Britain had requested permission to fly an RC-135 spy plane over Russia, in a move it described as a "deliberate provocation".
A British Defense Ministry source denied that London had requested permission to fly a spy plane over Russia.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the Russian Air Force is tasked with preventing any violations of Russian airspace.
