The Russian government has published a resolution on the establishment of Sakhalin Energy LLC, which will become the operator of the Sakhalin-2 PSA.

Andrey Oleinikov, the current head of the Sakhalin Energy branch, will become the manager of the newly created company.

At the same time, the Japanese authorities announced the country's intention to maintain its participation in the Sakhalin-2 project after a new decree of the Russian government.
