“Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be able to receive preferential loans for the restructuring and development of production at the current rate of the Bank of Russia at 4.5 and 3% per annum, respectively.

The decision to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin,” the statement reads.

It is noted that businesses will be able to spend the corresponding funds on the purchase of equipment, overhaul of production facilities or the launch of new industries.

First of all, these loans will be available to enterprises engaged in the processing of agricultural products, logistics and hotel business.

The program will be valid for three years.
