China News Service, August 17. According to Reuters, on the 16th local time, the first grain ship after the Ukrainian grain export agreement was reached docked at the Syrian port of Tartus.

Shipping industry sources said corn was already being unloaded from the ship.

According to reports, the "RAZONI" left the Ukrainian port on August 1, and the 26,000 tons of corn it loaded was supposed to be shipped to Lebanon, but was rejected by the buyer.

The ship sailed to Turkey on the 11th, where it unloaded some of its cargo.

When it sailed again the next day, the transponder was not turned on, so its location has not been determined recently.

Reuters had previously quoted sources as reporting that the ship approached a port in northwestern Syria on the 14th.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Transport has previously stated that it "is not responsible for ships and goods leaving Ukraine".

According to the United Nations website on the 16th, after the Black Sea Grains Initiative was reached, the Joint Coordination Center was established in Istanbul, Turkey on July 27.

From August 1 to 15, the Joint Coordination Center has approved 21 ships to leave Ukraine's Black Sea ports and 15 ships to enter the port, thus promoting the safe export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizers.
