7 dead and 13 injured in a bus accident in Egypt

Seven people were killed and 13 others were injured this morning, Wednesday, when a minibus overturned on the Ismailia-Cairo road.

A security source stated that there were eight children among the injured, and that the injuries ranged from fractures, concussions and wounds.


And the security services of the Ismailia Security Directorate moved to the scene of the accident to determine the circumstances.

The prosecution was notified to complete the investigations.


It was not immediately clear more details about the incident.


It should be noted that bloody road accidents are relatively common in Egypt.

In many cases, it is traced back to reckless driving or road conditions.


During the past years, Egypt witnessed the construction of a network of new roads, with the aim of improving the quality of roads and facilitating the connection between different regions.
