“All major forest fires have been extinguished in Yamal.
About 400 people took part in the firefighting, including 98 specialists from the federal reserve, who will return home in the coming days... In connection with the stabilization of the situation in Shuryshkar and Nadym districts, the emergency mode has been lifted today,” the government’s Telegram says.
It is noted that one natural fire continues to operate in the region - in the Krasnoselkupsky district.
Its distribution has also been suspended.
Earlier, investigators opened a criminal case under the article “Negligence” after a major fire in the Ust-Donetsk district of the Rostov region.
