Ulyanov spoke about the West ignoring the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

“The situation at the Zaporozhye NPP causes us growing concern.

This is due not only to the ongoing Ukrainian shelling of this station, but also to the position taken by Western countries.

In a collective statement at the Vienna site dated August 12, Western countries bothered not to even mention that the nuclear power plant was being shelled, ”RIA Novosti quotes him.

According to him, the West is focused on the task of the so-called demilitarization of the nuclear power plant, that is, on the withdrawal of Russian military personnel from there, while, in this way, Kyiv is encouraged in the issue of shelling the plant.

“Such a position, on the one hand, essentially encourages Kyiv to continue shelling, and on the other hand, it means that Western countries are in fact not at all concerned about the likelihood of a nuclear catastrophe,” he added.

Earlier, the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” and the branch of the Russian Historical Society of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, in an interview with RT, spoke about the lack of reaction of the European Union to the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
