“Ukrainian sabotage groups blew up six towers of high-voltage power lines ... through which the Kursk NPP supplies power to industrial facilities, transport, life support, social infrastructure and the population, both in the region and neighboring regions of the country,” RIA Novosti quotes a statement from the FSB of Russia.

The incident caused a disruption in the technological process of the operation of the nuclear power plant.

On the fact of what happened, criminal cases were initiated under the article "Terrorist act", the protection of objects was strengthened.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that a military warehouse near the village of Dzhankoy was damaged as a result of sabotage.

The department also noted that the sabotage caused damage to a number of civilian facilities.
