The diplomatic mission reported that most of the deleted video materials were interviews of the Russian ambassador in London, Andrei Kelin.

“In this regard, we consider the removal of video content from the embassy channel as a rude attempt to limit our information work, and most importantly, to deprive the audience of the channel of a source of truthful information,” TASS quoted the embassy representative as saying.

The diplomats called on the YouTube administration to restore all deleted videos and apologize for the discriminatory actions.

Earlier, blogger Dmitry Puchkov announced the blocking of his YouTube channel for violating the rules of video hosting.

According to him, the hosting did not explain which rules were violated.
