And among the actors who watched him, who praised him and nominated him for viewing on social media platforms, what is the secret of all this celebration?

Although the filming of the work was completed in October 2020, the two stars, Dalal Abdel Aziz and Samir Ghanem, were infected with the Corona virus and their health deteriorated, leading to their death, respectively, last year, and what followed. From a state of sadness and mourning, their daughter, the heroine, entered the work, which led to the postponement of the film's screening more than once.
The film was finally shown this August, coinciding with the first anniversary of the departure of Dalal Abdel Aziz, which made watching it mix laughter with some grogginess and many calls for mercy for the late artist, especially since it is the last work in which the two late stars (Dalal Abdel Aziz and Samir) participated. The secret of the audience's interest in theaters and watching the movie is due to several reasons, including the strong return of Donia Samir Ghanem to the big screen, after an absence of 6 years since 2016, in the movie "Laf and Rotation" with star Ahmed Helmy.
One of the reasons is also that the artist Hisham Majed participated in Donia Samir Ghanem in the movie championship, as he has a long history in comedy and has his own and wide audience, in addition to the common experiences between the two before, as they cooperated together in the third story of the Ramadan series "Badal Al-Hadouta 3". .
What also explains the demand for the movie "Delivering My People", is that it is the only comedy and family work among the works shown in theaters, as most of them are films dominated by intense action and excessive romance.
However, despite all this waiting and enthusiasm, the teaser for the movie and its promotional poster, on the one hand, did not appear in the advertisement anything that aroused attention or ignited the viewer's desire to watch the movie, and on the other hand, the poster seemed traditional if not very primitive. .
Fortunately, the audience did not pay attention to these two elements, and decided to follow their intuition, and the good and unexpected surprise, that the work actually came much better than the first indications, so that some critics blamed the advertising and considered it unfair to the film and its makers.
A series of surprises
The first and biggest element behind the success of the work so far and the audience's enjoyment of it is the surprises that affected many of the elements of the film.
The first is the plot, which everyone thought was a romantic comedy that revolves mainly around Donia and Hisham, so it has a collective starring in the type of "action comedy", which we rarely see in Arab cinema in general.
The events revolve around Khalil, the doctor who seeks to emigrate, and Zahia, the girl who dreams of marriage, and there is also Sedky, Khalil's father, and Buthaina, Zahia's mother.
The parents decide to marry each other, and on the night of the wedding, everything is turned upside down after a bloody attack, after which Khalil and Zahia discover that their family heads a dangerous gang.
And then they have to intervene and try to save the situation, which is taking place in a very comical and successful framework, allowing events to unfold in unexpected directions, with many reasons for laughter.
The funny thing is that the dramatic line of Dalal Abdel Aziz and Bayoumi Fouad was very interesting, as the comedy seemed to be streamlined, based on the comedy of the situation, not the "epites", while the charisma of the two stars was tyrannical.
Dalal Abdel Aziz was distinguished by the comedy aspect, while surprising the audience with the action part, as did Bayoumi Fouad, who considered this work a real and clear role for him, in contrast to his almost always marginal roles in Egyptian films in recent years.
The second surprise is due to the many guests of honor, although we are used to it recently, but the difference here is that most of them did not appear in the advertising, and therefore no one expected them.
More importantly, their presence was a justification for serving the plot and not just passing a generous compliment to the work makers, and it can be said that the role of Lucy and Muhammad Mamdouh was a reason to change the course of events, and change their skin in a special and remarkable way.

But it should be noted that the end of the film was not at the level of the rest of the work, so it was fleeting and not saturated, and it was possible to focus on it more than that to make the artwork complete.
