According to him, the decision to recognize the independence of Taiwan would be contrary to the course of history.

The representative of the Party Chancellery stressed that the firm determination of the Chinese authorities to uphold the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country should not be underestimated.
Earlier it became known that China included seven Taiwanese officials in the list of supporters of the independence of the island and intends to impose sanctions against them.
