"On August 15-16, 2022, a transport conference will be held in the city of Turkmenbashi... Delegations from more than 30 states confirmed their participation in the forum," the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The forum is held on the initiative of Ashgabat under the auspices of the UN.
On June 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the VI Caspian Summit.
He stated that Russia is in favor of deepening cooperation between the countries of the "Caspian five" in the fields of politics, economics and security.
