Investigators opened a case into the death of five people as a result of an accident in Nizhny Tagil

This was stated in the press service of the investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk region.

“A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under part 6 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Violation of traffic rules, which negligently caused the death of two or more persons, committed by a person who does not have the right to drive vehicles”),” the report says .

Investigators conducted an inspection of the scene, questioned witnesses and appointed the necessary examinations.

Earlier, the head of the press service of the GUMVD for the Sverdlovsk region, Valery Gorelykh, said that as a result of an accident with an ambulance in Nizhny Tagil, five people were killed and two more were injured.
