Embassy: Russians were not injured in the explosion at the market in Yerevan

This is reported by TASS with reference to the Russian Embassy.

“According to preliminary data, there are no Russian citizens among the victims of the explosion in the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan,” the diplomatic mission said.

The embassy added that they are in close contact with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health of Armenia and medical institutions where the victims were taken.

Earlier it was reported that the death toll from the explosion in the Surmalu shopping center had risen to six.

So far, 60 injured and two dead have been reported.
