The Democratic Party criticized today (15th), the 77th anniversary of Liberation Day, saying, "The Yun Seok-yeol administration is fading the meaning of Liberation Day with 'humiliating diplomacy' that denies the Republic of Korea Supreme Court's ruling on compensation for forced labor and conscription."

In a written briefing this morning, Democratic Party spokesman Cho Oh-seop criticized this, saying, "In the pitch-black darkness of colonial rule, the history of the Republic of Korea, which our ancestors protected and built with blood and sweat, is about to be shaken."

Spokesperson Cho also pointed out, "Even if a crisis strikes the people's livelihood, a pandemic re-emerges, and floods occur, the president and the government are invisible."

He continued, "As his acquaintances and close aides, he is doing his best to seize key positions and undermine democracy. We will protect democracy and the lives of the people by inheriting the spirit of our devoted ancestors,” he said.
