1,000 rental bicycles were to be rolled out on Stockholm's city streets in April. Only now during the summer has the bicycle company managed to deliver according to the agreement, but the problems in the app continue. And now traffic councilor Daniel Helldén (MP) is fed up, after demanding a fine of eight million kroner from the company for the delay.
Another 1,000 bikes will be in place on October 1 and next spring a total of 5,000 bikes will be rolling out on the streets.
If the company is unable to deliver according to the agreement, the city of Stockholm will terminate it, according to Daniel Helldén.
