Mossos d'Esquadra
have arrested a man in
Tarragona
this Sunday for having stabbed his ex-partner several times, who remains hospitalized in
serious condition
, although in principle there is no fear for his life, at the
Joan XXIII Hospital
.
The man has been located a few hours after the event on the N-340, in
Tarragona
, and has not put up resistance when the agents have arrested him, according to what police sources have told Efe.
The 38-year
-old detainee
will presumably go to court tomorrow and the Mossos frame the case in an episode of
sexist violence.
The events took place this morning shortly after 05:00.
