Zakharova: the Western community is trying to prevent the IAEA mission at ZNPP

According to Zakharova, the Russian side in every possible way facilitates the visit of IAEA representatives to the Zaporozhye NPP.

“And they want this, and the IAEA, as a structure, has been ready to do this for a long time, but all this so-called Western community, of course, together with the Kyiv regime, are doing everything to prevent this,” TASS quoted her as saying.

Earlier, the Zaporozhye CAA reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine again fired at Energodar and the Zaporozhye NPP.

Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov called on the Kyiv authorities to stop attacks on nuclear power plants and provide security guarantees for the participants of the IAEA mission for their visit to the facility.
