V's election manifesto: "More rental properties, better welfare and climate investment"

On Thursday – on the day one month before the election – the Left Party presented local election manifestos.

There, the housing situation in the municipality is under heavy pressure.

- Today they say that at least 30 percent of the homes that are built must be rental properties, that is far too low.

For every home that is built, a rental property must also be built, so that people don't have to go overboard in debt to be able to afford to live somewhere, says Tobias Smedberg.

The party's promised climate investment, with, among other things, solar cells on all municipal roofs, he says must be paid for with part of the state's 700 billion that the Left Party wants to release by not paying off that national debt.
