With one month left until the election, the Moderates today present a reform package that the party wants to implement during the first hundred days in power if it gets the chance to form a government.

At the press conference, Kristersson and Svantesson gave a review of the economic situation, where they believe that it pays too poorly to work more.

Therefore, the party wants to strengthen the employment tax deduction for those with low and medium wages, which should give 500 kroner more a month for a middle income earner.

The moderates also want to reduce the tax for pensioners by the same amount as the employment tax credit.

"Important signal"

The third part of the party's reform package is a job bonus for those who leave long-term unemployment and get a job if they keep ten percent more of their salary.

The premium means that the person gets to keep ten percent more of the salary up to SEK 2,500 for a maximum of 18 months.

- This is an important signal to facilitate the transition to work, says Svantesson.

According to Kristersson, the state's revenue would increase by 57 billion if foreign-born worked to the same extent as domestic-born.

To finance the reforms, the Moderates want to reduce aid, change the unemployment insurance fund and reform health insurance with an outer limit.

At 11 o'clock M leader Ulf Kristersson will give his summer speech in Strängnäs.
