The Governor of Giza, Major General Ahmed Rashid, moved to the site of the fire that broke out in the Abu Sefein Church in Imbaba, to examine it, determine the circumstances of the fire, and follow up the work of transporting the injured to hospitals for treatment.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the governor confirmed that the governorate, with its entire apparatus, is in a state of alert to deal with the repercussions of the situation, stressing that the necessary health care is provided to the injured and reassurance of them until their full recovery.

The Governor of Giza assigned the Social Solidarity Directorate to disburse an urgent subsidy of 50 thousand pounds to the families of the deceased and 10 thousand pounds to the families of the injured.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that 30 ambulances were sent to the site of the fire accident, and 55 cases were transferred to the two hospitals (Imbaba General and Agouza), and the injured cases are being dealt with, as well as the deaths, according to what was reported by the “Al-Ahram Gate” website. .
