The Honor Guard of the Ministry of National Defense moves with a wooden box wrapped in the Taegeukgi.

The one contained in the wooden box is Yeong-hyeon, 17th in line, who belonged to the Korean Liberation Army, such as Governor Baek Jeong-hyeon and Governor Kim Yu-shin, and died while protesting against the Japanese.

At the time of the martyrdom, most of these ancestors were in their 20s or 30s and had no descendants.

For these reasons, etc., the remains were buried under the former tomb of General Ji Cheong-cheon, who was the commander-in-chief of the Liberation Army after liberation, under the old tomb of Su-uri.

After three days of temporary enshrining at Seoul Cemetery, a relay ceremony was held today to move Yeonghyeon to Daejeon Cemetery.

President Yun Seok-yeol said that the freedom we enjoy today stands on the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the independence of our country, and that we must remember our heroes until the end.

[President Seok-Yeol Yoon: I will make sure that there is no neglect in respecting those who sacrificed and devoted themselves for the country and the people responsibly.

I will take care of and remember the sacrifices and devotion in the name of the nation until the end.]

After the relay ceremony, Yeong-hyeon, 17th in line, was moved to the Daejeon Memorial Cemetery and was individually buried in the joint cemetery of the Korean Liberation Army of Korea Suyuri built in the cemetery of the 7th veterans of independence.
