Putin noted the high level of relations between Russia and Pakistan

“Relations between our states are at a high level.

Russia and Pakistan are actively cooperating on a bilateral basis, as well as in various multilateral formats, including in the anti-terrorist and Afghan areas,” the telegram says.

Putin expressed confidence that the parties would continue to build up constructive cooperation between Russia and Pakistan.

Earlier, the Russian leader held telephone conversations with Mali's transitional president, Assimi Goita.
