It was the twelfth time that the air show was arranged at the airfield in Arboga, with a break during the pandemic, said Bo Björklund, secretary of the Arboga model club.

The event lasts for three days for the pilots, but on Saturday the public was welcome to watch the airplanes, which among other things performed arts in the air.

One of the largest aircraft measured four meters from wing tip to wing tip.

The aircraft came in different variants.

- We have helicopters, jet carts that are civilian and military, models from the Second World War and aerobatics that can spin around in front of the pilot without having to fly away, says Bo Björklund.

How do you get good at flying model airplanes?

- There are flight simulators that you can have on your computer at home.

I also book indoor flights during the winters in sports halls, where you have much less light small planes to practice and do arts with, says Bo Björklund.
