The more we learn about the search of the Florida residence of Donald Trump, the more the situation of the former president seems to be complicated.

According to the American media, one of Donald Trump's lawyers would have signed, several weeks ago, an attestation telling the authorities that all the confidential documents taken away by Donald Trump have been returned to the national archives.

However, we now know that this is not true.

Legal papers made public by the court revealed that during the

search of Mar-A-Lago

, the FBI agents left with

about thirty boxes filled with documents

marked "secret", "top secret" or " confidential”.

This weakens the defense of Donald Trump, who assures that this search was not necessary and that he has been cooperating with the authorities for months.

The former president also explained that he had, in fact, declassified the documents that were still in his possession.

A possible action for a president but which requires a long procedure.

And for the moment, no document corroborates the statements of Donald Trump.
