Blast kills five in Ecuador

“Eight buildings were destroyed, 16 people were injured, five were killed, two cars were destroyed,” the report says.

Patricio Carillo, Interior Minister of Ecuador, said a criminal group was responsible for the explosion.

However, he did not provide any details.

In December 2021, two explosions were reported at the airport in the Colombian city of Cucuta.
